Protect your investment in your beloved Westy with our luggage rack drain hole screen kit.  Includes everything you need to install screens over the four large drain holes in the Westfalia luggage rack.  Prevent leaves and debris from accumulating underneath your luggage rack and silently eating away your van!

Fitment notes:

  • This is a great time not only to prevent further debris accumulation but also to get rid of the crapola that is already under your rack.
  • Simple removal starts with the four large screws that hold the luggage rack to the roof mounted brackets.
  • Then lift the rack up and away from the van.  It's not heavy but can be unwieldy - get help if needed.
  • Clean the roof area of debris and address any rust or paint failure.  Remember that the rack covers the roof metal so don't be afraid to sand, prime and paint to protect further damage.
  • Install the screen kit in the luggage rack using the supplied epoxy
  • Consider using a new German Luggage Rack Seal when re-installing the rack
