We designed the Van Cafe Big Shot Shifter V2.0 with a comfortable, ergonomic tapered shift knob.  If instead you want to maintain the original look of your van, you can use this adapter kit to easily install your original shift knob on the Big Shot V2.0.

Don't yet have a Big Shot shifter?  Check them out here!  Short throw, all metal construction, ergonomic excellence.

Fitment Note:  For 14mm shift knobs only (most 1983.5 and up WBX vans)

Installation:

  • Remove the Big Shot shift knob and threaded stud
  • Thread the Van Cafe adapter into the shifter shaft
  • Slide the included o-ring over the upper threads of the adapter
  • Screw your OEM shift knob until it touches the o-ring
  • Tighten until the gear pattern is correctly oriented
  • If you feel like the knob is too loose, you can (at your own risk) go another rotation around.  Be warned that doing so will put much more pressure on the internal shift knob threads.
