If your 2.1L Hall's sender has failed or the plug has broken, and you do not want to use the aftermarket distributor because you wish to keep your Bosch distributor, then this aftermarket Hall's sender is for you. This Hall Sender fits distributors with a 17mm slot for the hall plug. Some vans had a 24mm slot and this sender will not work for them. This sender will also work if your distributor has full-size senders with a plate with four bolt holes.

Assembly requires disassembly of the distributor, which requires removing the spring and drive pin from the drive gear at the bottom of the distributor, removal of the shaft, removal of the old hall sender, installation of the new hall sender, replacement of the shaft, and reassembly of the distributor. Please pay attention to the position of the washers during disassembly so you can reinstall them correctly. The position of the hall sender pick-up can be on either side. The ECU can't tell the difference, and it will work fine.
