Early sliding door hinge (80-84).

These are aftermarket JP Group brand, we've installed this hinge on a van at our shop and we're pleased to see this product return for the early van folks...that being said they seem to have beefed up the spring in this hinge compared to stock (or at least the 30 year old one we were used to) and it does take some effort to close the door. What this means is you will likely be waking people up in the middle of the night slamming your door closed more than normal until this spring "breaks in."

If you are looking for a replacement to make your door quieter, don't buy this hinge. If your hinge has broken, then this is the only new replacement out there that we know of.
