This part attaches to the firewall on the passenger side alongside the transmission. There are three versions of this part so you MUST read the part number off the part you are replacing. Make sure they match up before ordering. This is the most common one junction. For the most part, the other two versions were used in 1986 (one for automatics and one for manuals) and this one was then used in all 2wd's from F 24-H-022957, 1987 onward. Best to confirm what you have first but if you are 1987 to 1991 - 2WD - it is most likely this one.
