Here is the RMW solution to supporting your Subaru engine in your VW Vanagon. We solidly believe that our latest design is the best carrier bar system in the Subaru conversion market. We realize that's a huge claim, but here's why we stand behind it:

We utilize the stock Subaru engine mounting position using factory Subaru mounts. This emphasizes the strength and balance of the original design creating a proven and vibration-free driving experience. Each carrier system is built in-house from heavy-duty steel components. The tube crossbar is made of 1-1/4" .120 round tube that is bent to maximize ground clearance. The rest of the structure is comprised of 1/4" steel plate, cut and formed to enhance stability and longevity. Each bar is hand-welded to precise tolerances to allow for easy and exact engine installation.

We incorporate four urethane bushings to decrease engine vibration. This additional insulation guarantees a smooth, vibration-free power train cruising down the road.

The RMW engine carrier system is designed to leave ample room for engine maintenance. Our carrier provides enough space to accomplish any repairs with the engine in your van, from basic tune-up operations to head gaskets and timing belts.

This carrier system will accommodate Subaru 2.2L, 2.5L. 3.3L SVX and 3.0 H6 motors in either 2WD or 4WD Vanagon.
