The diesel cylinder head coolant flange can become corroded over time.  This good quality replacement comes complete with o-ring. Fits diesel Vanagons 1980-89. Ref ID: 068121145K

This silicone hose kit comes with the appropriate clamps. and will fit all 1.5" stainless steel coolant pipes. One kit will do both the feed and return pipes. 6" long.
