Rubber brake hoses will expand/stretch when you apply firm pedal pressure resulting in a mushy pedal. Simply installing stainless steel lines will provide a firmer pedal. The front hoses are much longer than the rear, so the improvement is noticeable upon installing the front lines, but negligible with the rear. These are gel-coated stainless steel lines with a Teflon insert. Made in the USA, and will fit 1980-1991 all models. These are DOT approved - made in the USA - the brand is Goodridge and they have the correctly sized end fittings that require no modifications. 2 required per vehicle.
