  • Custom air intake system featuring aluminum air box
  • Complete mandrel-bent stainless steel exhaust system
  • Aluminum heat shields for body and engine.
  • Throttle positioning kit and custom throttle cable
  • Electrical retrofit kit
  • All hardware, gaskets, adapters, relays, etc. required for a clean conversion
  • 200+ page step by step illustrated instruction manual

Fitment notes:

This kit fits 1972-1979 VW buses.  Our various component kits may be used for earlier buses but are not supported for these applications.

Designed around SOHC EJ25 Subaru donor motors from 2000-2004, however we also have an option for people that prefer the 2.2L EJ22.

Throttle cable barrel measurement is based off the Subaru throttle cable end at the throttle body.

Single or Dual port exhaust is based off your Subaru donor engine: 2 studs per head = Single Port; 3 Studs per head= Dual Port.

NOTE:  If you are in a state with CARB-compliant emissions laws, you must select the CARB version of this exhaust.  We cannot ship Federal-emissions catalytic converters to states with CARB-compliant emissions standards.
