Brand new Bosch starter. No core charge! When used in conjunction with our Hi-Torque Starter Adapter, it will give your Subaru conversion extra starting power over the stock Vanagon unit. If purchased with the correct starter adapter (see link above), it will also fit 2wd automatic or manual transmission vans. It is the preferred starter for Syncro 4wd Vanagon as the length is shorter than the SR0408X unit, allowing an easier install that does not require you to remove the diff lock pod.
