One-piece speedometer cable that eliminates the Oxygen Sensor Counter Box. For Syncro only. To install, remove the cable from the speedometer, tape the white push buttons (that secure cable to speedo) and tie a nylon string to the same end. Remove grill and driver side headlight assembly which will gain access to the grommet where the cable runs through. Pull the cable from headlight area. Reattach new cable with the string and pull through. Attaching the lower portion of the cable is self-evident. We use the Gemo brand who was the OEM supplier for Volkswagen. In the past, we have had issues where other brands would cause the needle to bounce. This cable we have found to be the best. When installing make sure to allow the cable to arc smoothly such that the cable enters the back of the speedo as straight as possible.
