Customize your original Big Shot shifter by using your stock shift knob!  

We all love our Big Shot shifters with their short throw, all metal components, ergonomic excellence.  What we haven't loved is the monster eight-ball shift knob that came with the original Big Shot.  

With this Van Cafe adapter kit you can use your original Vanagon shift knob on your RS Fab Big Shot for more comfortable shifting!

Fitment Note:  For 14mm shift knobs only (most 1983.5 and up WBX vans)

Installation:

• Remove the Big Shot shift knob and threaded stud
• Thread the Van Cafe adapter into the shifter shaft
• Slide the included o-ring over the upper threads of the adapter
• Screw your OEM shift knob until it touches the o-ring
• Tighten until the gear pattern is correctly oriented
• If you feel like the knob is too loose, you can (at your own risk) go another rotation around.  Be warned that doing so will put much more pressure on the internal shift knob threads.
