This rear shift selector shaft fits 2wd gas Vanagons from mid-1983-1991.

The rear shift rod wears where it goes through the rear shift rod bushing.  This translate to a sloppy shifter. 

The last of the genuine VW selector shafts!

Make sure you replace your shift rod bushings whenever you have your shift linkage apart!
