Upgraded oil pressure relief plug with external hex head.  Easy removal with a 19mm wrench.  Finally an alternative to the maddening stock style single slot relief plug that you basically have to destroy to remove!  

This plug also features 1/8th inch NPT port so you can easily add an oil temperature sender to monitor your oil temps.

Fits Vanagon aircooled and watercooled 1980-91. Will also fit Type 2 1972-79.

NOTE:  Please torque the screw to 15 ft-lbs. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!. Tighten the plug with a 3/16" allen key and tighten it 3/4 to 1 3/4 turns past finger tight. Use a vice or a 19mm wrench to hold the screw while tightening the plug.
