This metal coolant outlet upgrade eliminates a plastic failure point on all 2.1L engines.  This outlet bolts to the rear of the right side cylinder head on all 2.1L engines from 1986-1991.  The hose attached to this outlet runs to the coolant bleed ring that traverses the engine compartment.

The original plastic outlet is notorious for warping and causing leaks at the rear of the head.  Put this metal upgrade on your to-do list!
