It seems not too long ago we were stoked when these caps became available again. We order them from Volkswagen of Germany and without warning, the latest load of Syncro gas caps have changed. Same Volkswagen part number and same Blau (the manufacturer) number. Look at the pictures below and you will notice the new cap on the left has a slightly larger head, but the real difference is the back of the cap. The new cap fits perfectly and the slightly large head in our opinion looks better than the older style smaller one.
