Our convenient CV bolt kit comes with everything you need to install an axle in your Vanagon.

Our kit contains:

• (12) Hardened 12-point CV joint bolts
• (12) Serrated washers
• 12-point triple square socket for removing and installing VW CV bolts 

This is enough to do one rear axle. Please click here if you need just the bolts and washers.

Fitment Note:  A stripped CV bolt WILL ruin your day.  Before attempting to remove the CV bolts on your van, carefully clean out the bolt heads with a metal pick and a solvent like brake cleaner.  They'll most likely be gunked up with grease and road dirt and you want the 12-point socket tool to seat as firmly into the bolt head as possible.  

When all the bolts are clean, insert the socket into the bolt head and give it a decent rap with a hammer.  This shocks the fastener and sometimes helps with stuck bolts.
