This windshield wiper relay controls the front windshield wipers in your Vanagon.  If your wipers stop working and you've checked the fuse (usually fuse #10 on early vans and #17 on later vans), this relay might be your problem.

This relay is non-programmable, meaning it doesn't give you an intermittent (delay) wiper function.
