This 80C thermostat fits all 1.9L and 2.1L Vans from 1983-1991.   It begins to open 7-degrees Celsius lower than the original 87C thermostat.  This is great if you drive in hotter weather or if you often find yourself in stop-and-go traffic.

 

Though we only carry brands whose quality we trust, we recommend that you test your thermostat before installing it. Carefully lower the thermostat into a pot of boiling water to ensure that it opens correctly. Take care when removing the thermostat afterward, as it will retain its heat. Set aside to cool before trying to install.
