This shift lever lives on the transmission and is the link between the rear shift rod and the input to the trans.  The nylon ball wears down over time and the resulting play creates sloppy shifting.

Fits 1983-91 watercooled vans, including Syncros.

NOTE:  While replacing this lever, we recommend you clean out the cup that the ball sits in and grease it back up really well.  Also make sure to use a good boot over the lever to prevent dirt getting in there.
