This "wedge" is named so because you wedge it into the light bulb socket rather than screwing or twisting it into place.

Fits various locations in the interior of the van:

• Emergency flasher switch
• Defroster switch
• Fog light switch
• Auto trans selector at the base of the automatic trans shifter

The original bulb and base were one unit. The newer version of the bulb holder allows you to replace it.
