It is tough enough to come up with coolant hoses for the 85 model with the 1.5" diameter long coolant pipes, but it is even more difficult to come up with them for the 84 model where they were 1.25". This handy hose adapter works surprisingly well. Just slip the sleeve into the hose and then slip the whole combination onto your pipes and clamp it down. This allows you to use the 85 model front radiator hoses feed and return and the feed and return hoses in the engine compartment off the bleeder housing that go to the long pipes on your 84 (you have smaller diameter metal pipes on the 84 models).
