The VW Fuel Tank Sending Float installs in to the top opening of the fuel tank of 1973 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models. The sending unit has an electrical connection which sends a resisted ground signal to the fuel gauge to provide the reading. The fuel tank float includes a new seal.
