This expansion tank grommet is an essential component of the fuel breather system.  It holds the rollover float valves in place and seals the fuel expansion tanks in 2WD Vanagons and the fuel tank in Syncros.

It's essential that these are in good condition to keep water and debris out of your fuel system.
