Aftermarket front heater fan resistor. The resistor from VW of Germany has dried up, so we are happy to offer this high-quality aftermarket version. To use this resistor, you will need to move the power wire from the old fan switch connector to the new connector attached to the new resistor. Please see the instruction below.

If you are going to the trouble of removing your dash to replace the front heater core and/or heater blower motor, it would be wise to replace this fan resistor, too, so you only have to go down this path once. Please bench test the resistor and fan motor before installing them.
