These are the front cranks seals to use if you intend to submerge your Syncro. The two seals mate together to form one watertight seal.
If you do not plan on submerging your engine, then the normal front crank seal will work for you just fine and save you a lot of money. When using the 2WD crank seal in place of the Syncro one you will need to remove the metal carrier collar or it will dig in seal causing a leak.
