The ground tree in the Vanagon is where most of the ground wires under the dash is located.  It lives under the dash up behind your fuse box. 

If you have electrical gremlins, check your grounds first before buying expensive components.

This ground tree will arrive flat and you will need to bend the tabs up to match your original.
