Ol' Feb usually shows up with frozen fingers, snowbanks that swallow you up to the waist, and that deep winter feeling where everything slows down to a Kermit-esque, tea-sipping pace.
But this year? Not. Quite. So. Much.
It’s been strangely warm. Dry. Almost forgiving (has anyone seen my ice scraper!?) This is the month that nudges us to think about love, but not just the postcard version. Not the flashy movie stuff. The quiet kind. The kind you show up with.
Deep in the breath. Under the skin, in the froth of the soul, rather than mass printed on a T-shirt.
For a lot of us, these Vanagons are wrapped up in that idea. They’ve been part of relationships, friendships, families... Road trips that went perfectly, and others that absolutely did not. They’ve held space for laughter, tension, late nights, early mornings, and everything in between.
They’ve also asked for patience. Forgiveness. And the occasional well-timed explitive!
But love isn’t always a grand gesture. Sometimes it’s just wearing the thing you care about on your sleeve. Repping the places and people that have helped keep your van on the road. Sharing a little of that energy with someone else who gets it. Vanagon owners know that in the ups and downs: we've found our tribe.
To show our appreciation for the community we love, we're sharing the love all February long!
