Fitment notes:

1972-early 1975 buses - If your bus was originally carburetted, please select the option above that includes a fuel injected bay window fuel tank and retrofit kit.  The Subaru motor requires a fuel recirculation system which carburetted tanks are not set up for.

Late-1975-1979 buses - Though your original tank will work, you may consider purchasing a new fuel tank as part of your conversion to Subaru power as the newest original tank is now over forty years old.  To order a new tank, simply select the early bus option above.
