There are two of these seals on the differential for the automatic transmission. Also, know as the pinion seals in the Bentley workshop manual. When these seals fail it allows the automatic transmission fluid to be pumped into the final drive section that is only intended to have 90 wt gear oil in it. Seals are sold individually - you need two for the job.
