This automatic neutral safety switch is the safety device that prohibits a van with an automatic transmission from starting when the gear selector is in anything but park or neutral.  It also is the electrical switch for the reverse lights.

This kit contains both the switch and electrical contact plate.

Note:  If you have to wiggle your gear selector back and forth while turning the key to make the starter engage, this is the kit you need.
