Our aluminum window replacements were inspired by one of our loyal customers who  wanted an economical way to eliminate his windows.

This panel installs the same way as the factory glass: just insert the aluminum window into the inside channel in the window seal and then rope the seal into the van body.

We intentionally do not coat or prep these panels as many customers prefer to paint these to match their body color. Don't want to paint?  The aluminum will never rust and can be left raw.

We also envision the DIY crowd using these panels and customizing their own ideas. You could cut holes in it to mount a fan and or an A/C unit. You could drill holes and mount accessories.

Fitment Note:  The Vanagon had two different sliding doors through its production run. The early sliding door from 1980-1984 had the same size window as the driver's side of the van, the later slider window is smaller.  The panel on this page will fit all Vanagon driver's middle window and 1980-84 sliding door windows.
