This AC expansion valve fits all 1986-1991 Vanagons with air conditioning.  

Symptoms of a faulty expansion valve may include:  warm air blowing from vents, frost on the vents, compressor running constantly, and inconsistent airflow or temperature.

Please be aware that the part you receive may vary from the picture.  Also, there are sometimes stickers over the ports which make it look like there are no ports - just run your fingers over them to find them.
