This handy trailer wiring converter adapts flat four-pin electrical onnectors on the vehicle side to seven-pin adapters on the trailer side. 

NOTE:  If you have have a four-pin connector on your vehicle, you're set up for trailer lights only.  Your vehicle is not controlling trailer brakes or 12V auxiliary batteries.  We recommend wiring in seven-pin connections on any trailer with trailer brakes.
